How to Care For It
- Washing: Hand-washing is generally recommended to prevent stretching, especially for knitted items. Use cold water (no warmer than 30ºC/86ºF) and a mild detergent.
- Machine Washing: If you must use a washing machine, place the beanie in a laundry bag to avoid snagging. Use a gentle or delicate cycle with cold water and similar colors.
- Preventing Color Bleed: Wash light and bright colors separately, as some dyes may run during the first few washes. Extra care should be taken with high-contrast, highly saturated colors (e.g., red, black, navy on light-colored fabrics).
- Drying: Always air dry the beanie. Do not use a tumble dryer, as high heat can shrink or damage the fabric. Lay it flat to dry to maintain its shape.
- Maintenance: If the beanie develops pills, a fabric shaver or razor blade can be used to restore it to a new condition.
Pre-washing Tips:It is recommended to pre-wash items, as some initial shrinkage may occur.
